About Me & what I do

Born in South Africa and now living up the coast of from Sydney, I am a father, maker, gardener, woodworker, bee keeper, connoisseur of fine beer & random silly facts and full time Photographer.

I am a commercial, portrait & branding photographer based up in Australia’s beautiful and rugged Central Coast and shooting all over Greater Sydney.
I work in and around our beautiful harbour hugged city but love to travel and these days spend an ever increasing part of the year out and about NSW for myself and clients.
I am self-represented and takes clients onboard with a personal touch. 

Think of me as part of your graphics design team. Im the one that can turn your crazy, ludicrous and sometimes bordering on OH&S infringing ideas into reality with the magic of a camera, some lights and photoshop.

I love photographing people. Specifically I love photographing people who make things. There is nothing more fascinating than someone who has created something from nothing, adding something cool to the word.

We went scrambling over the rocks today and met a geological engineer who showed us a fossil he found right on the rocks we were standing on. Pretty cool.

In between shoots and editing we sometimes rescue new bee hives off apple trees in the pouring rain.

What gear do you use?

More importantly, what gear don’t I use…
Ha!..
It’s Canon, Manfrotto, Apple and Godox and a bunch of others…

The gear is pretty irrelevant these days anyways. Nobody asks a carpenter what saw they use.

Photography is much the same. The gear is so good and similar these days it does not really matter anymore.
As long as its black so that it goes with my pants.
